Valley Creekside Farm

We stopped off at Valley Creekside Farm where my mom's friend, Cecilia Colglazier, runs a farm in the Shenandoah Valley. Here she has a huge garden where she plants Heirloom tomatoes, lettuces, squashes, etc. She supplies these fresh vegetables and fruits to local restaurants in Washington DC. She also has Araucana chickens which produce delicious blue eggs.

The beginning of her huge garden!

A very old cemetery on her propriety. Most of the tombstones date back to the early 1800's.

Black star hens which produce jumbo brown eggs. These are not the Araucana chickens as those ladies were to shy to let me take there photo!

Andi helping feed the chickens.
